Did some stuff on the '72 Ironhead: The Bubble visor is leaving, it fogged up all the time so no clear vision with the head light. I found an old 50's / 60's cigarette holder I might use as cover, mock up looks good so I will check if its possible to make it happen. The MX Gasthrottle was not placed like I wanted so I made it the way I like it the most. The Sissybar got some upgrades, bent it straight and made some gussets cause it cracked on both sides... Working on the foot controls next wednesday.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND THANKS FOR CHECKING HOODLUM SOCIETY! Paul.
Chrome tank on the 1972 Ironhead, new Eurol 20W50 oil and new intern oilfilter so its ready for....The Liberator show in March 2014. Same #72 graphics, chrome won't get you home but I hope it does. Goodbye Mercedes 230E: you did a great job for 4 1/2 years and now our government makes new rules so you are going to Belgium and have a good life ahead.
Its always nice to have friends in the right places. Twin Air is hooking us up for the last 15 years in Motocross and now they made special filters for the Hoodlum Street/Flat Tracker. We tested the airfilter this year and it was awesome, with the special GP cover you can ride in dirt/rain/snow and don't have troubles at all. Try to do that with your "paper" air filter, it won't work. Twin Air also made a breather filter with special GP cover, its a prototype so we let you know later if it works, well we know its gonna work, don't worry, Twin Air know their stuff in the Air Filter world. Simply the best and made here in The Netherlands only 8 miles from our shop. Thanks Pieter and Leo @Twinair.
